General Manager 

As the General Manager of the APAC Region, you will be at the forefront of driving innovation, efficiency, and profitability within the APAC region. Your role will encompass a wide array of responsibilities, including leading and developing a highly skilled team, managing complex projects, nurturing client relationships, and maintaining a laser-like focus on financial success. 

 

Your ability to lead, strategize, and adapt in a dynamic tech landscape will be paramount. With a keen eye on profitability and an unwavering commitment to excellence, you'll guide our team through intricate projects, ensuring that we not only meet but consistently exceed our clients' evolving expectations. By fostering a culture of innovation, strategic thinking, and client-centric collaboration, you will play an instrumental role in advancing our company's reputation and position as a leading technology solutions provider. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Team Leadership and Development: 

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse and talented team of software engineers, project managers, and technical experts. 
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that promotes creativity and problem-solving. 

 

Project Management: 

  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning and scoping to implementation, testing, and delivery. 
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. 

 

Client Engagement: 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agency clients, understanding their needs and objectives. 
  • Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for new projects and technology enhancements. 

 

Profitability Management: 

  • Develop and execute strategies to ensure the team's financial success, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue growth. 
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance and make data-driven decisions to maximize profitability. 
  • Implement data-driven approaches to evaluate company performance and effectiveness, making informed decisions for improvement. 

 

Quality Assurance: 

  • Implement best practices, quality standards, and agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure projects meet the desired quality levels. 

 

Innovation and Technology Adoption: 

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. 
  • Encourage the team to explore new technologies and propose innovative solutions. 

 

Risk Management: 

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects, ensuring that the team is proactive in addressing challenges. 

 

Communication and Reporting: 

  • Maintain clear and transparent communication with senior management, stakeholders, and the team. 
  • Provide regular reports on project status, financial performance, and team achievements.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies. 
  • Familiarity with software development processes and technologies.

The pay range for this role is:

350,000 - 400,000 AUD per year (JTI Melbourne, Australia)
