The mission of Jubilee Housing is building diverse, compassionate communities that create opportunities for everyone to thrive. Since 1973, Jubilee has worked to provide high quality affordable housing and holistic support to those experiencing persistent economic hardship in the Adams Morgan and Columbia Heights neighborhoods of Washington D.C. Jubilee operates more than a dozen properties totaling more than 500 homes and has an active development pipeline of several hundred new affordable housing units in progress, including a integration of a first in kind aquaponics farm. Jubilee also offers robust programming for residents and community members as they pursue life goals.

Position Description
The VP of Advancement has strategic and operational responsibility for Jubilee’s development and communications functions, leading successful delivery of the resources needed to support the mission now and into the future. The VP is part of an innovative Executive Leadership team that is integral to the future strategy and direction of the organization, vital to board leadership, and essential to building institutional relationships. It reports to the CEO, provides leadership for the Board’s Leadership Council, and leads a team of five other development and communication professionals. The advancement function includes responsibility for the annual fund, corporate and foundation relations, major gifts and gift planning, capital campaigns, stewardship, and advancement services. The Vice President provides leadership and oversight for the communications function as well, driving visibility and expanding our base of support.

The pay range for this role is:
130,000 - 150,000 USD per year (1631 Euclid St NW, #P5, Washington, DC 20009)
