About you

You’re a proactive problem-solver who thrives on turning complex challenges into elegant, efficient code. You love working at the intersection of software engineering and new technologies—especially when it means experimenting with AI/ML tools and building automated, scalable solutions in the cloud. You’re curious, collaborative, and at home juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You’re also comfortable refactoring legacy code, fine-tuning infrastructure, and making data-driven decisions along the way.

Key Responsibilities and Impact Areas

There is a wide range of work we do, and having some or all of these skills is a huge plus!

• Python Development & Refactoring: You’ll dive deep into existing codebases to streamline, refactor, and optimize. Whether it’s cleaning up old scripts or building entirely new libraries, your Python expertise will ensure our systems stay reliable, fast, and clean.
• Infrastructure as Code: Using tools like Terraform, you’ll help define and manage AWS infrastructure. You’re comfortable spinning up Lambda functions, configuring serverless architectures, and automating deployments so our team can move quickly and confidently.
• AI & Machine Learning Integration: Collaborate with our AI team to integrate cutting-edge models (OpenAI, and beyond). You’ll set up pipelines and endpoints that serve ML predictions at scale, giving end users seamless access to our intelligent features.
• Data Exploration & Analysis: You’ll work hands-on with data—crafting solutions for data ingestion, validation, and transformation. Your comfort with data will help inform feature development, training ML models, and ensuring data integrity.
• Collaboration & Communication: We’re a mostly remote, cross-functional team, so clarity matters. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ship features quickly. Code reviews, pull requests, and stand-ups will be second nature to you.
• Software Engineering Best Practices: From version control (Git) to pull requests and continuous integration, you’ll champion the processes that keep our codebase healthy, secure, and maintainable.
