Karoo is a venture-backed startup, immediately prior to Series A, on a mission to transform cardiovascular care. Our platform is designed to empower large provider groups and health systems to succeed in value-based care contracts with payers by improving patient outcomes and reducing cost of care through better coordination, analytics, and disease management. While our initial focus is cardiology, we are building a scalable operating system for managing complex conditions across the healthcare spectrum.
This is a rare opportunity to join a mission-driven founding team at a pivotal stage and help define the future of healthcare technology, with the power to improve the lives of patients with cardiovascular disease, the number one cause of death in America today.
Karoo is seeking to add a Part-Time Registered Dietitian as an important care team member to our clinical care team. The ideal candidate is skilled in evidence-based nutrition therapy, chronic disease management with an emphasis in cardiovascular disease, and motivational interviewing, with a strong interest in leveraging digital tools to improve patient engagement and outcomes.
As a key member of our care team, you will provide individualized nutrition counseling, contribute to care plan development, and collaborate closely with clinicians, nurses, social workers, and care team navigators to optimize cardiovascular risk reduction and promote long-term lifestyle change.
This role will start as Part-Time with a goal of growing to Full-Time as patient demand increases as we grow. (Target to FT is around 6-9 months from hire, but not guaranteed.)
