Senior Full Stack Engineer (Healthcare, Value-Based Care, AI)

About Keebler Health

Keebler Health is building the operating system for value-based care. Our mission is to help risk-bearing healthcare organizations thrive in value-based arrangements by unlocking the full power of their data. We empower leading primary care groups, ACOs, and health plans to act on real-time insights that improve outcomes, reduce costs, and fuel sustainable growth.

We're a fast-moving, high-performing team, and we’re looking for people who share our bias toward speed, urgency, and excellence. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you won’t just write code—you’ll shape critical systems, ship quickly, and set the engineering bar for a product that supports the future of U.S. healthcare.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and ship end-to-end features quickly, without compromising reliability, security, or performance.
  • Architect and maintain robust backend services (Python) and modern web interfaces (React) for clinicians, analysts, and operators.
  • Design, develop, and scale secure, HIPAA-compliant infrastructure and pipelines to process and deliver healthcare data.
  • Ingest, transform, and structure messy healthcare data (claims, EHRs, lab results) into actionable, accurate insights.
  • Partner closely with product, delivery, and clinical teams to deliver elegant solutions under tight timelines.
  • Continue to innovate with artificial intelligence that can improve care navigation, risk adjustment, and provider decision support, for future products and features.
  • Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, architectural rigor, and technical mentorship.
  • Help build and refine the team’s culture of ownership, speed, and executional excellence.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of full-stack experience shipping production software in fast-paced environments.
  • Deep proficiency in backend development with Python and other frameworks.
  • Frontend experience with React, TypeScript, and modern component libraries (e.g., Next.js, Tailwind).
  • Strong healthcare data experience (e.g., claims, HL7, FHIR, EHR exports); you know how to work with messy, real-world datasets and are familiar with platforms & healthcare data interoperability tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS), containerization (Kubernetes), and CI/CD best practices.
  • Ability to make pragmatic decisions quickly and execute under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to drive clarity across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Passion for healthcare, and ideally, experience supporting value-based care models or risk-bearing providers.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience integrating AI/ML into real-world product workflows.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, SOC 2, and other healthcare security frameworks.
  • Familiarity with tools like dbt, Airflow, or ELT/ETL data architectures.
  • Prior experience in a high-growth startup or mission-driven tech company.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation + meaningful equity in a mission-driven company.
  • A remote-first, fast-moving culture where decisions are made quickly and execution matters.
  • Full health benefits, 401(k), generous PTO, and flexible work hours.
  • Ownership over systems that will directly shape how value-based care is delivered in the U.S.
  • A high-trust, no-politics team that values speed, clarity, and getting things done.
