Keel Labs is looking for a Production Technician that possesses strong technical and mechanical skills to join our team at our Morrisville office. This position will focus on providing support to our Development Operations Team in scaling the production process, while also supporting our research team in and outside of the lab. Our team members benefit from a small, close-knit working environment as all facets of our business are done collaboratively in our shared facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Autonomously set up, operate, and maintain equipment
• Reliably record necessary run data
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and actively contribute to the development and implementation of these enhancements 
• Work cross functionally to help meet or exceed production, waste and quality goals
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of production, quality control, and equipment maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulations and policies 
• Support other functional areas or duties as necessary or assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 - 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, maintenance, or mechanical role   
• Dedication to safety leadership and maintaining a safe working environment
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
• Competence in operating and controlling equipment for performing job duties safely and effectively
