Position Summary


The Account Executive, Content & Editorial leads client communications and content initiatives within Kellen’s Marketing, Membership & Strategic Partnerships (MMS) department. Reporting to the Director of Content & Editorial, the AE drives multi-platform content strategies, manages client relationships, and oversees projects from concept to execution.


Essential Functions

  • Lead the planning, execution, and analysis of newsletters, magazines, blogs, and social content.
  • Manage content programs aligned with client goals (e.g., membership growth, engagement, retention).
  • Oversee the production and distribution of print and digital publications, working closely with printers, mail houses, and other vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Conduct market research to inform content strategies and uncover new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce consistent, high-impact content.
  • Write, edit, and proofread marketing materials, adhering to AP Style guidelines.
  • Analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics and create actionable reports.
  • Manage content budgets and ensure projects meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary client contact for content initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Project management experience with a track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Informz, MailChimp) and social media management tools.
  • Experience with SEO, Google Analytics, and performance reporting.
  • Knowledge of design and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, or communications.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in content marketing, editorial, or association management.
  • AMC experience is a plus.
