Senior Solutions Architect - LATAM

JOB OVERVIEW:  The Senior Solutions Architect is a vital member of our Customer Success team that works closely with our Commercial team to delight prospective customers and their integrating engineers. They are effective communicators who can pivot with ease — from discussing technical requirements with a CEO or team of developers, while also being equally able to support non-technical members of our clients teams. They are comfortable sketching out ad request / API workflows on a whiteboard, and delivering a product demo to a crowded room. 

LOCATION: Remote - United States. This position is 100% remote. Applicants located anywhere within the United States are encouraged to apply. East coast hours or central hours are highly preferred. This position is 100% remote. Applicants must be legally eligible to work within the United States. 

PAY TRANSPARENCY: Kevel uses external, third-party market data to determine compensation for all open positions. Our compensation philosophy is based on the candidate’s specific working location AND experience level. This means that we will take a no negotiation approach in our recruitment and offer processes. The pay range for this position is between $168,000 - $200,000. An exact offer for this position will be determined based on the candidate's working location and experience level, in relation to our existing team.


In regards to candidate location in the US specifically, Kevel currently uses validated external data sources to determine which US locations are considered higher cost of living metropolitan areas compared to others. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:

  • Become an expert in Kevel, our APIs, and what they can do. 

  • Work closely with Kevel’s Sales team to develop and deliver technical demonstrations and answer technical questions during the sales process. 

  • Troubleshoot customer problems while they are testing and implementing, and keep Solutions, Sales and Customer Success teams up to date on development progress.

  • Assist in the completion of customer RFPs and security/infrastructure questionnaires.  

  • Assist post-launch customers in scaling and expansion strategies and implementations. 

  • Own and drive relationships with technical audiences of all kinds, from integrating engineers to CTOs, understanding business objectives and explaining solutions. 

  • Capture feedback for product and engineering, and advocate internally on prospect and customer’s behalf.

SKILLS YOU'LL BRING WITH YOU:

    • Experience working with REST APIs and a highly technical product. 

    • High-energy, passion and creativity. 

    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills. You are comfortable speaking in groups, being recorded and speaking with both technical and non-technical audiences. 

    • Strong soft skills (communication, relationship building, emotional intelligence, situational awareness, confidence, empathy) are beneficial for success in this role.   

    • Research, Test, Ask. A successful Solutions Architect will always search for a solution, try it, and finally ask for help. An independent problem solver will find the most success.

    • Proactivity, ownership and the ability to work both autonomously and in a team will help you shine in this role. 

    • Previous coding experience in some form. While you won’t need to write any code of your own, you should be able to write JSON and understand basic code.

    • Additional Requirements for LATAM Region:

      • Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish and English is a MUST HAVE in this role. 

      • Experience and knowledge of working in the LATAM region in a technical role is a strong plus!
