About the role


The ADAS Training & Performance Manager plays a critical role in enabling the success of collision repair centers by providing expert training on ADAS calibration identification, proper documentation for insurance reimbursement, and workflow optimization. This individual will also oversee and support a team of ADAS Field Support Specialists, ensuring consistent delivery of training, performance evaluations, and customer support across assigned territories. Success in this role requires a blend of technical expertise, customer relationship management, and a passion for driving operational excellence within the automotive repair industry.


What you'll do

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal teams and external customers.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to Kinetic customers on ADAS calibration identification, diagnostic processes, and best practices to ensure vehicles are returned with safety systems restored after a repair. 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on ADAS calibration, guiding repair centers on integrating proper workflows into their daily operations.
  • Conduct regular on-site visits to ensure customer proficiency with calibration processes and documentation standards.
  • Perform and support all aspects of Pre & Post scan processing for key accounts when coverage is not available. 
  • Manage and support ADAS Field Support Specialists, providing coaching, performance evaluations, and operational guidance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including Product, Operations, and Technical teams, to relay customer feedback and contribute to solution enhancements.
  • Monitor key performance metrics, analyze data, and identify areas for additional training and process improvement.
  • Handle customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and manage escalations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Facilitate customer onboarding and ensure a smooth implementation of Kinetic's ADAS calibration & software solutions.
  • Stay current with industry standards, OEM requirements, and emerging trends related to ADAS systems and process documentation.
  • Adapt to evolving business needs by supporting other tasks as identified & required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role within the collision repair, automotive service, or ADAS calibration industry.
  • Strong knowledge of pre- and post-scanning procedures, diagnostic tools, and ADAS calibration processes.
  • Familiarity with OEM scan tools and calibration equipment is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with estimating platforms such as CCC and Mitchell.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with customers at all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities.
  • Leadership experience or team management background is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support customer sites and participate in industry events.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to pass a background check and MVR.

The pay range for this role is:

105,000 - 130,000 USD per year (San Carlos, CA)
