About the role

As the Director of Operations - Hub Ops at Kinetic, you will lead and manage all aspects of our ADAS calibration operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing operations within the automotive ADAS or collision industry. You will champion a customer-centric approach, proactively engaging with clients to understand their needs and delivering exceptional service to drive customer success. Through your leadership and strategic guidance, you will play a key role in advancing our mission of revolutionizing automotive technology and enhancing vehicle safety.

What you'll do

Team Leadership:

  • Build and lead a high-performing team of calibration technicians.
  • Provide coaching, training, and support to team members to foster their professional development and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Operational Oversight:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of ADAS calibration operations, including resource allocation, scheduling, and workflow optimization.
  • Ensure that calibration processes are efficient, standardized, and aligned with industry best practices.

Customer Focused:

  • Ensure that ADAS calibration operations are customer-centric and focused on delivering value to clients.
  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their specific calibration needs, challenges, and expectations.
  • Develop strong relationships with key clients and act as their primary point of contact for all calibration-related inquiries and concerns.

Quality Assurance:

  • Establish and maintain rigorous quality control standards and procedures for ADAS calibration.
  • Implement quality assurance measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of calibration results and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously assess and improve ADAS calibration processes to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Implement tools and technologies to automate and streamline calibration workflows where possible.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment of ADAS calibration activities with overall business objectives.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on calibration operations and address any issues or concerns.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in automotive, with a focus on ADAS calibration or collision industry experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ADAS calibration processes and procedures.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing calibration operations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience with quality assurance and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The pay range for this role is:

125,000 - 175,000 USD per year (US)
