The role
The ADAS Training & Performance Lead plays a critical role in enabling the success of collision repair centers by providing expert training on ADAS calibration identification, proper documentation for insurance reimbursement, and workflow optimization. This individual may also oversee and support a team of ADAS Field Support Specialists, ensuring consistent delivery of customer training, performance evaluations, and support across assigned territories. Success in this role requires a blend of technical expertise, customer relationship management, and a passion for driving operational excellence within the automotive service and repair industry.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships to improve customer retention and customer service
- Deliver training to significantly improve the way customers value and prioritize ADAS calibration, diagnostics, and best practices
- Conduct regular, on-site customer visits to ensure proficiency with calibration processes, software usage, and documentation standards
- Support pre- and post-scan processing for key accounts
- Manage and coach ADAS Field Support team members to achieve customer growth, retention, and satisfaction targets
- Improve products and services by constantly sharing valuable insight, recommendations, and customer feedback with product, operations, and technical teams
- Monitor performance metrics to identify training needs and process improvements
- Ensure customers view Kinetic as responsive and supportive by promptly addressing customer inquiries and troubleshooting needs, as well as escalating issues appropriately
- Lead customer onboarding and ensure successful implementation of Kinetic’s calibration and software solutions
- Invest constantly in your subject matter expertise and technical knowledge by staying current on OEM requirements, industry standards, and ADAS documentation trends
Required qualifications
- Experience working with automotive repair estimating software, such as CCC and Mitchell
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with customers at all levels
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of managing and delivering against multiple, simultaneous priorities
- Leadership experience or team management background (ideal, though not a requirement)
- Willingness to spend 3-4+ days per week driving to customer locations, as well as traveling to industry events, as needed
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle records (MVR) check

The pay range for this role is:
105,000 - 130,000 USD per year (CA)
