About the role
Based in our Glasgow office, the Quality Manager is responsible for the continuous alignment to, and improvement of, the Kinsmen Group Quality Management System (QMS). As an ISO 9001 certified organization, quality adherence is paramount to our company, our employees and our customers alike.
What you'll do

- Managing all aspects of the QMS across the organization
- Gain and retain certifications as required (namely, ISO standards 9001 and 27001)
- Advice Leadership on changes to such certifications and opportunities for new certifications
- Liaison with the regulatory authorities and external consultants where needed
- Oversee external audits from certification bodies and customers
- Non-conformities and CAPA management
- Risk management activities
- Customer feedback management / follow up to closure
- Chair the Quality Management reviews
- Continually evolve best working practices and procedures to deliver excellence in all areas
- Overall responsibility for the Quality and Procedure Manuals/Policies/Standards
- Manage all customer quality improvement initiatives
- Lead supplier quality assessments and improvement initiatives
- Responsible for production test & inspection activities and resources
- Champion root cause analysis and preventative actions
- Identify Quality System weaknesses and change as necessary to strengthen
- Co-ordinate the internal audit programme and use results to improve systems and compliance
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar capacity
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and/or 27001
- CQI / IRCA Training Internal Auditor Certification
- Good oral/verbal communication skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience of GAMP 5 qualification and validation advantageous
