About the role
As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and driving the successful execution of various projects within the organization. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources, coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants, and ensuring that the project objectives are met. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. Additionally, this role will support corporate development initiatives, which involve strategic planning and activities aimed at achieving long-term growth, such as business development and partnerships.
What you'll do
Project Planning and Initiation:
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Develop comprehensive project plans that cover all project management aspects, including timeline, resource allocation, and risk management.
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
Team Coordination and Leadership:
Lead project teams by providing direction and support to ensure project goals are achieved.
Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel and ensure team members are fully engaged.
Communication and Stakeholder Management:
Establish and maintain relationships with project stakeholders to ensure their needs are met.
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders.
Prepare and deliver regular project updates, status reports, and presentations to stakeholders and senior management.
Execution and Monitoring:
Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
Track project milestones and deliverables.
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and documentation to project stakeholders.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Quality Assurance and Risk Management:
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks and address any project issues promptly.
Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and records.
Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Corporate Development Support:
Support corporate development initiatives such as business development and partnerships.
Assist in strategic planning and execution of corporate development activities to achieve long-term growth objectives.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for business development.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify and implement best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Continuously improve project management processes, templates, policies, and tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field – degree preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) - certifications are optional but preferred.
5+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and deliver results.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring all project activities are conducted with precision.
The pay range for this role is:
550,234 - 697,118 MXN per year (MX)
