Your role

As a Senior Product Visual Designer at KISI, you’ll partner with Product Enablement, Product Management, and R&D to craft clear, compelling visuals and interfaces that bring our functionality to life. You’ll create illustrations, UI layouts, and experiential assets that educate, delight, and guide customers, partners, and internal teams—ensuring our documentation, training, and products are as beautiful as they are useful.

Your responsibilities

Visual Documentation & Enablement

  • Design step-by-step illustrations, infographics, and flow diagrams for product guides (e.g. onboarding), API docs, and knowledge-base articles.
  • Produce iconography, UI mockups, and visual callouts to simplify complex workflows and features.

UI/UX Collaboration

  • Work alongside Product Management and R&D to translate feature specifications into wireframes and high-fidelity UI prototypes.
  • Contribute to user-centered design reviews, ensuring interfaces are intuitive, accessible, and on-brand.

Training & Presentation Design

  • Develop polished slide decks, video storyboards, and interactive assets for instructor-led and on-demand training.
  • Create animated GIFs or short videos demonstrating product functionality and best practices.

Brand & Style Governance

  • Maintain and evolve KISI’s visual style guide, ensuring consistency across product, marketing, and support collateral.
  • Audit and refresh existing graphics to align with updated branding or product changes.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with engineers and technical writers to understand feature logic and constraints.
  • Gather feedback from customer-facing teams to iterate on visuals for clarity and impact.

Your qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience designing graphics and UIs for SaaS, enterprise software, or tech-driven products.

Design Tools & Technical Skills

  • Expert in Figma (or Sketch), with strong prototyping skills and component-library management.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects) for illustration and animation.
  • Familiarity with responsive design principles, grid systems, and basic HTML/CSS to collaborate effectively with engineers.
  • Experience producing lightweight animations (e.g., Lottie, GIF) or video snippets for training and documentation.

UX & Communication

  • Solid grasp of user-centered design methodologies.
  • Exceptional visual storytelling skills—able to simplify technical workflows into engaging graphics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication to present design decisions and gather feedback.

Soft Skills

  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple design projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset—comfortable pairing with writers, product managers, engineers, and marketers.
  • Detail-oriented, with a passion for pixel-perfect execution and brand consistency.
