About the role


The CRO Strategist plays a pivotal role in maximizing client conversion rates and ROI. They manage and optimize landing pages, aligned with the Paid Media teamโ€™s advertising campaigns, to accelerate growth for our clients. Additionally, they develop and execute comprehensive experimentation strategies across client websites, implementing A/B testing, user journey optimization, and data-driven improvements. By analyzing user behavior and conversion metrics, they identify opportunities to enhance user experience and drive meaningful business outcomes across diverse industry verticals. Their expertise helps transform visitor traffic into qualified leads and customers, delivering measurable growth and return on investment for our clients.


Essential Functions

  1. The majority of your time will be spent on CRO Strategy for your book of clients. You will be responsible for understanding their business goals and developing a strategy to achieve that goal. You will do this through user behavior analysis, development of experimentation strategy, and split testing. (50%)
  2. Internal Communications: For each client, you will be working alongside an Account Manager and several other Strategists for other services (Paid, SEO, and Creative). A big part of success comes from high-quality internal communications. You will use Asana, Slack, video calls, and email to make strategic decisions and share progress. (20%)
  3. Client Communication: While the primary responsibility of client communication lies with the Account Manager, you will need to be able and comfortable presenting your work and results to the client on Zoom, Email, or Slack. Building relationships with the clients is key to longstanding relationships with our clients and each member of the team plays a part in that. (15%)
  4. Scope Expansion: As a well-rounded marketer, you will be able to see areas of opportunity for clients and give insight on potential expansion opportunities. You will work with the rest of the team to deliver these areas of opportunity to the client and work to secure an Upsell or Scope Expansion. (10%)
  5. Develop Skills: You will explore new tools and methods of performing qualitative and quantitative user research that help our clients achieve their goals. (5%)

Qualifications

  1. Previous CRO experience preferred (Landing page optimization, split testing, conversion-focused copywriting). Would also consider previous UX design or research experience.
  2. Agency Experience is a plus.
  3. Web Design principals familiarity is a plus.
  4. Experience Working in the following Platforms: 
    1. Unbounce and Convert (or similar)
    2. Crazy Egg (or similar)
    3. Google Analytics
    4. Asana (or similar)
  5. 0-2 Years of Experience
  6. Bachelorโ€™s Degree in UX Research, Web Design (or similar)
