SEO & SEM Specialist – Global Industry Leader in Market Research and Advisory (Remote, India)

Kline + Company, a market research and advisory firm with offices across the globe, is seeking an experienced SEO and Content Specialist to own the firm’s SEO, SEM and content marketing efforts.  You will lead all efforts to improve organic site traffic, conversions and engagement.  

 

The ideal candidate is an SEO marketing expert with experience working in the management consulting or market research industry.   Experience in chemicals, energy, or other industrial sectors would be a plus, but it is not essential.  You will report to the Head of Corporate Marketing.   

 

In this role, you will manage SEO, SEM, and content marketing strategies to support business goals, helping to increase leads and strengthen Kline’s brand visibility. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of AI-driven search trends, ensuring that content is optimized for both traditional SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) success. You will work across the organization to understand corporate and business unit strategy, prioritize goals, set objectives, and define what success looks like.   

 

You will work in partnership with B2B marketing managers, industry experts, and corporate teams to develop and execute effective search strategies that drive real business results. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and optimize the firm’s SEO strategy. Enhance search performance through on-page and technical SEO, structured data implementation, and entity-based optimization, ensuring visibility in both traditional and AI-driven search landscapes.
  • Develop and execute high-impact digital campaigns. Drive profitable PPC and paid search initiatives across multiple networks, balancing long- and short-term strategies to maximize ROI, lead generation, and scalability. 
  • Shape and oversee a content strategy that delivers results. Define, curate, and scale high-impact content initiatives across multiple sites, aligning with business objectives and search trends.
  • Continuously improve search and campaign effectiveness. Apply data-driven insights to optimize SEO and PPC performance, leveraging A/B testing, landing page optimization, and conversion rate improvements to maximize efficiency and lower acquisition costs. 
  • Turn data into actionable insights. Conduct deep-dive performance analysis using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs, delivering informed strategic recommendations to leadership. 
  • Identify and capture new search opportunities. Leverage advanced keyword research, search intent analysis, and competitor benchmarking to refine targeting and maximize visibility in niche B2B markets. 
  • Streamline and automate digital marketing operations. Optimize workflows by identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and performance scaling. 
  • Craft compelling digital narratives. Develop high-converting copy for landing pages, paid search ads, and digital marketing materials that enhance engagement and conversions. 
  • Build internal capability and knowledge. Educate and mentor teams, fostering expertise in SEO, AEO, digital content strategy, and emerging search trends. 

Qualifications 

  • Digital marketing leadership with a strong track record in performance marketing.
  • 7–10 years of experience managing and scaling high-performance Google Ads campaigns across search, retargeting, and display channels.
  • Strategic and data-driven mindset.  
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret search performance metrics, making informed optimization decisions to drive continuous improvements in SEO, PPC, and conversion rates. 
  • Deep expertise in SEO, AEO, and conversion optimization.  
  • Strong foundation in structured data, schema markup, technical SEO, and AI-driven search methodologies, ensuring visibility across traditional and AI-powered search ecosystems. 
  • Proficiency in content management and marketing automation.  
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress, Pardot, Salesforce, and other automation tools to manage and optimize content and campaigns. 
  • Strong familiarity with Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Tag Manager to monitor and optimize search performance. 
  • Proven ability to lead, collaborate, and influence.  
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams, shaping digital strategy, driving execution, and aligning stakeholders to business objectives.
