The Professional Services Technical Consultant, hereafter PSTC, is responsible for providing expert level consultation, advisement, feature build, and demonstration of the Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) tools we offer to new and established clients. The PSTC may work independently or as part of a small project team with their primary duties focused on, the consultation of PPM system best practices, technical configuration of the PPM systems, unit testing, and technical handover to clients. The PSTC may also be assigned on-demand support and enhancement to existing deployments of PPM systems which means they will need to adhere to the client’s change control procedures and best practices of promoting functionality to various environments for quality assurance and testing before end-user implementation. Additionally, the PSTC may require cross-functional collaboration to meet all the needs of the client’s solution by working with the Client’s technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support technical discussions regarding API / integrations with external systems, then work collaboratively with the Kolme Group Integration specialist to implement those technical solutions with consideration to the PPM tool build. The PSTC role requires strong communication, business analysis, and technical documentation skills as well as the ability to manage numerous initiatives simultaneously and deliver exceptional results on time and with minimal supervision.
This role is a client-facing position and will require a balance of stakeholder management (both internal and external), business analysis with a heavy focus on eliciting requirements, knowledge of project management methodologies, technical configuration, and technical documentation abilities.

Essential Functions of the Job:
Technical Duties:
Configure the PPM application to meet client requirements
Transform functional and technical requirements into detailed designs, including process flows and wireframes
Identify functional gaps and develop creative solutions for clients
Develop technical documentation to support long-term administration of implemented PPM solution
Define testing scenarios and develop test scripts to support User Acceptance and Systems Integration Testing (UAT and SIT respectively)
Consulting Duties:
Understand legal documents such as Scope of Work (SOW) and Business Requirements Documentation (BRD)
Critical thinking, including strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, and the ability to work with ambiguity.
Provide functional consulting services by acting as a subject-matter-expert to lead clients through a PPM deployment (implementation, staged releases)
In conjunction with clients, ascertain and document business requirements for translation into technical solution designs for implementation in the client’s PPM environment
Advise clients on options, risks, and any impacts to other processes or systems as needed
Develop and maintain relationships internally, with partner organizations, and clients
Develop administrator and end-user training materials
Deliver administrator and train-the-trainer training
Project Management Duties:
Demonstrate familiarity with Project Management methodologies
Demonstrate effective meeting protocols and note-taking
Communicate with project stakeholders, including responding to client communications within the established timeframes
Generate weekly status reports to PM and attend weekly status meetings with project team
Ensure assigned individual contract/project goals are met on time and within budget

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business management, Computer Science, a related field, preferred or equivalent experience
Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred, but not required
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience
Experience implementing governance practices that align with waterfall methodologies
