POSITION / TITLE: Marketplace Operations Manager


POSITION SUMMARY:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketplace Operations Manager to own and streamline our marketplace operations across Hyperscaler Marketplaces (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and ISV partner marketplaces. This role is critical in ensuring our marketplace listings are optimized, offers are correctly configured, and post-sales operations run smoothly to support sales and finance reporting.

You will serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for managing marketplace-related processes across internal teams (sales, finance, partnerships, legal, product) and external partners.


LOCATION: Hyderabad (Must be willing to work in USA time zone)


REPORTING STRUCTURE:


This position reports to Director, Technical Partner Strategy


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Marketplace Management
    • Create, publish, and manage product listings across Hyperscaler and ISV marketplaces.
    • Configure and manage private offers to support custom pricing, contract terms, and deal velocity.
    • Maintain, update, and optimize marketplace listings to ensure accuracy and compliance with marketplace requirements.
  • Operational Ownership
    • Act as the primary owner of marketplace operations, coordinating with internal sales, finance, and partnerships teams.
    • Ensure smooth post-sales operations including deal closure workflows, invoicing, reporting, and reconciliations
    • Manage marketplace portals, approvals, and renewal workflows.
  • Reporting & Analytics
    • Build and maintain reporting dashboards for marketplace revenue, pipeline, and operational health.
    • Provide regular updates to sales and finance teams for accurate forecasting, revenue recognition, and compliance.
    • Partner with business leadership to analyze marketplace trends and identify areas for operational improvement.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Work with sales teams to enable marketplace selling motions.
    • Collaborate with finance on revenue recognition, reporting, and audits.
    • Partner with hyperscaler alliance teams to maximize marketplace visibility and funding opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • 3–6 years of experience in marketplace operations, GTM operations, or partner operations with Hyperscalers (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) or ISV Marketplaces.
  • Strong understanding of private offers, marketplace listings, billing models, and post-sales workflows.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end operations with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, finance, and partnership teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to build reports and dashboards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working independently as the SPOC for marketplace operations.
  • Willingness to work in USA time zone to support global stakeholders.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Hands-on experience with AWS Marketplace, Microsoft AppSource/Azure Marketplace, and/or GCP Marketplace.
  • Familiarity with CRM and deal desk processes .
  • Experience in SaaS or ISV business models.
  • Knowledge of marketplace incentives, co-sell motions, and funding programs.
