POSITION: Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

POSITION SUMMARY: The Head of FP&A will be a strategic finance leader responsible for building a best in-class FP&A function for a rapidly scaling enterprise SaaS, preparing for Series E funding and beyond. This role combines deep hands-on FP&A expertise, advanced financial automation, and strategic business partnering across Product, Revenue, Sales Operations, RevOps, and GTM leadership.

LOCATION: Hyderabad (Work from Office)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic FP&A Leadership

• Own company-wide FP&A including annual operating plans, long-range planning (3–5-year models), rolling forecasts, and scenario planning.

• Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO, CEO, and Executive Leadership Team.

• Drive data-backed decision-making across pricing, headcount, margin, and growth investments.

• Build FP&A capabilities scalable from Series E to IPO readiness.

Management & Board Reporting

• Design and deliver best-in-class management reporting with strong narrative and variance analysis.

• Own Board, Investor, and Lender reporting packs.

• Support fundraising, diligence, and investor Q&A.

• Align operational metrics with financial outcomes.

Advanced Automation & Financial Systems

• Architect finance automation to reduce manual effort and improve scalability.

• Build advanced Excel models, including macros (VBA) and automated templates.

• Define standardized templates across FP&A, RevOps, and Sales Ops.

• Integrate FP&A with ERP, CRM, and BI tools.

Revenue, RevOps & Sales Operations Partnership

• Own financial planning for Revenue, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.

• Build revenue forecasting models using pipeline and ARR dynamics.

• Design commission plans, incentive structures, and bonus payout models.

• Partner with RevOps on metrics, dashboards, and cadence.

SaaS Metrics & Unit Economics

• Own ARR, MRR, NRR, GRR, CAC, LTV, Payback, churn, and margin analytics.

• Drive unit economics and cohort analysis.

• Support pricing and discounting strategy.

Series E & Enterprise SaaS Readiness

• Build investor-grade financial models.

• Support due diligence and data rooms.

• Improve forecast accuracy and accountability.

• Align FP&A with accounting and controls.

• Support IPO readiness roadmap.

Team Leadership

• Build and mentor a high-performing FP&A team.

• Drive culture of automation, ownership, and excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 15+ years in FP&A with senior leadership experience.

• Enterprise SaaS or high-growth B2B experience preferred.

• Series D/E or IPO-prep exposure.

• Expert-level Excel and automation skills.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:

• CA / CPA / CFA / MBA (Finance) preferred.
