About the role

Kraken Kourts & Skates is actively seeking Brand Ambassadors to join our crew. This role is comprised of a combination of skills, blending hospitality, creativity, and a passion for enhancing the guest experience. Our Brand Ambassadors embody an "All Hands In" approach, and are ready to assist in various capacities throughout the venue. It is our goal to continually host world-class events, big and small, throughout the year. It is the role of the Brand Ambassador to provide an unparalleled guest journey through each event.

What you'll do

  • Greet guests as soon as they walk through the door
  • Provide guests with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods
  • Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment
  • Show guests to their designated area and explain our policies & procedures 
  • Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work
  • Maintain safety and food & beverage quality standards
  • Manage online ticketing platforms for internal data tracking and an elevated guest experience
  • Manage rental counters and efficiently administer rentals for guests
  • Keep guests happy and handle complaints appropriately
  • Build a rapport with our guests and vendors
  • Brainstorm ideas to enhance the guest experience
  • Maintain a positive image of the Kraken brand at all times
  • Collaborate with our partners when they promote their products in our units
  • Communicate event details provided by the marketing and operations teams to ensure our brands are advertised effectively and efficiently
  • Attend huddles to gain knowledge and understanding of our various events and locations

  • Be a relentless perfectionist with a positive attitude who has a high level of attention to mastering the minutia and competitive spirit
  • Ability to operate point-of-sales systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests
  • Keen understanding that a positive guest experience is imperative to success
  • Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds for short periods of time
