We are currently searching for a Junior Design Associate to manage the New Orleans and New York City-based design studios, ensuring the right physical and digital materials are in place to maintain timely delivery of new products. This role reports to the Design Studio Associate.

This role is based in our New Orleans Headquarters 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the organization of the KREWE Studio in New Orleans and its creative counterpart in NYC (as needed), all boards, kits, materials and inspiration including the digital studio sampling library.
  • In collaboration with the design team, confirm delivery of revised technical drawings (CADs), ensuring specifications are met with accuracy, on time in full. 
  • Advanced prep relevant samples and materials for fit presentations and Design meetings.
  • Input and maintain shared Design Structure Sample and Color Sample tracker boards daily in Monday.com to ensure clarity and transparency.
  • Audit and maintain design libraries in studio and online based on direction from management (CADs).
  • Receive samples and prototypes from manufacturer, checking in SKUs against order documentation to check for accuracy; communicate receipt and address/resolve any discrepancies with manufacturer.
  • Support design team with technical inspection of all eyewear samples and finished goods to ensure all technical and brand specifications are met.
  • Support build of seasonal tech packs with design team.
  • Aid in ad-hoc projects as requested.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in product, project management, or operations role.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and drive.
  • Highly organized and proactive in creating and maintaining processes and systems.
  • Result driven, detail oriented individual, with an ability to work independently in a high-performance environment.
  • Focus on delivering individual goals that ladder up to overall company goals.
  • As part of the design and decision process, comfort with trying on frames and documenting fit through modeling of the product.
  • Ability to travel to New York City approx. 4 times per year
