We are currently searching for an Ecommerce Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Sr. Manager of E-commerce. This role owns both the strategic direction and hands-on execution of our .com experience - our largest storefront and a critical expression of the KREWE brand. You'll partner with brand marketing, performance marketing, retention, planning, and design to optimize site merchandising, user experience, and conversion across the channel, while also owning day-to-day execution of product launches, site content, and reporting. This role plays a key part in the redesign and development of a new Shopify ecommerce experience and in KREWE's semi-annual sale events.
This role is based in our New York Headquarters 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Site Management
- Collaborate with the Sr. Manager of Ecommerce on site merchandising strategy to drive decreased bounce rate, increased conversion, and sell-thru rate against planning and ecomm's KPIs.
- Proactively merchandise the site to take advantage of activity from marketing, performance, and retention.
- Use data analytics to generate insights and identify growth opportunities related to collections, merchandising, assortment, user experience, site architecture, taxonomy, and critical path.
- Develop a testing roadmap, execute tests, and report results to leadership.
- Partner with the development agency to implement the UX/UI enhancement roadmap.
- Improve site technical performance and SEO/GEO optimization to increase KREWE's digital visibility.
- Regularly review and recommend improvements to critical path, partnering with digital marketing channel leaders to quantify tactics and provide recommendations.
Reporting & Insights
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on key site metrics and merchandising/product sell-thru performance, including insights, recommendations, and action items to inform digital marketing strategy.
- Closely monitor and report against sell-thru rate to inform channel strategies and remain in lockstep with planning to ensure KPIs are achieved.
- Develop Ecommerce benchmarks and reporting, communicating site performance to leadership.
Execution & Launches
- Own end-to-end execution of product launches on site: product uploads, content uploads, QA'ing, and cross-functional coordination between planning, photo, copy, ecomm, and brand.
- Coordinate and execute all site content updates: strategizing needed updates, briefing the development agency, QA'ing, and tracking/reporting performance.
- Lead execution of the site components of KREWE's product launches and promotional events, including semi-annual sale events.
- Own the website campaign calendar and workflow for ecommerce, retail, and special events; prepare briefs and review creative based on best practices, engagement data, and testing responses.
Cross-Functional & Customer Engagement
- Serve as a key facilitator of ecommerce channel merchandising and product strategy, supporting channel owners on their respective merch strategies.
- Collaborate closely with brand and creative to track and report against site creative, driving a data-backed creative strategy across the site.
- Partner with paid media and marketing team members to optimize on-site conversion rate.
- In collaboration with the Retention Manager, ideate loyalty and retention touchpoints and programs to enhance customer lifetime value (LTV); develop segmentation and personalization strategy for the site.
- Identify issues (e.g., website bugs, payment issues) and implement effective solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in ecommerce or digital marketing, ideally from a retail (D2C) brand environment; luxury fashion or fashion accessories experience preferred.
- Proficient in Shopify (Shopify Plus a plus), including product catalog management, optimizing product listings, creating promotions, and merchandising execution.
- Comfortable with Google Analytics, website analytics tools, A/B testing, and SEO best practices.
- Experience with website optimization for speed, UX, and mobile performance, and in-depth knowledge of UX/UI best practices.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data to identify trends, product performance, and customer behavior, and translate it into reports and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Experience managing front- and back-end development partners is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to mobilize cross-functional teams and projects.
- Experience with Google Drive and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Triple Whale is a plus.

Salary (for New York only): From $80,000-$100,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
This reflects the base salary for this position. Compensation may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, certifications, and business needs. In addition to base pay, KREWE offers annual bonuses, a comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, and employee discounts.
