About Kuvare
Kuvare Services Bermuda Ltd. (“KSB”) is seeking a Head of Operations and Human Resources to support our Bermuda based team. The ideal candidate will be organized, upbeat, able to work independently and with the team, and ideally have direct operational experience, including responsibility for human resources, at an insurance or financial services company. KSB currently provides services to two affiliated reinsurers (Kuvare Life Re Ltd. and Kuvare Bermuda Re Ltd.) and one sponsored sidecar vehicle (Kindley Re Ltd.).
What you'll do
- Oversee general human resource requirements, including but not limited to: coordinating advertisement for new roles and recruiting activities, onboarding new employees (including immigration requirements), updating HR policies in conjunction with our group HR team, promote employee satisfaction, coordinating with payroll, recruitment and immigration advisors / service providers, and managing pension, health and benefit programs and providers;
- Oversee administrative function currently consisting of one Administrative Assistant responsible for office supplies, IT, printers, phone, facilities, online payments, expense reports, scheduling of meetings and travel coordination;
- Oversee and optimize daily operations, streamline processes, and assist senior management in driving strategic initiatives;
- Oversee vendor governance and act as primary point of contact for various service providers to KSB and/or the affiliated reinsurers / sidecar vehicle KSB provides services to
- Assist in preparation of presentations and correspondence; maintain and update key marketing material, frequently access due diligence material and presentations as required;
- Assist in project management and oversight of key operational deliverables, including with respect to reinsurance transactions;
- Maintenance of a group calendar of key business deliverables, board meetings, etc.;
- Participate in other ad hoc projects, as required.
Qualifications
- A University degree, or equivalent work experience;
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in an operations management, office management or executive support role, ideally within an insurance company or a service provider to international business;
- Familiarity with core HR Functions.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Bermuda's immigration regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word and Excel;

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees;
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once and know how to prioritize deadlines;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while supporting a team that may be working either remotely or in office;
- Organized and has good attention to detail.
