What You’ll Do:
- Uncover Insights: Dive deep into user research with surveys, interviews, and usability testing to understand pain points and identify opportunities, especially in complex industries like manufacturing.
- Design Intuitive Solutions: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and workflows that bring features to life, always keeping a mobile-first mindset and complex workflows in mind.
- Engage with Customers: Build meaningful relationships with users through face-to-face interviews, site visits, and virtual meetings to inform your designs.
- Analyze Performance: Use UI analytics tools (like UserPilot, Pendo, or Google Analytics) to measure how features perform and refine your designs accordingly.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with our Product Managers to define user stories and Developers to ensure your designs are technically feasible and achievable.
- Optimize for Mobile: Design with responsive and native mobile experiences in mind, making sure users get the best experience, no matter the device.
- Stay Flexible: Navigate changing priorities and projects with ease as new insights emerge or business needs shift.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years designing applications for complex environments like manufacturing or industrial workflows.
- A strong portfolio showcasing responsive and native mobile designs.
- Expert-level skills with design and prototyping tools like Figma.
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers and Developers.
- A knack for engaging directly with users and turning insights into action.
- Familiarity with tools like UserPilot, Pendo, or Google Analytics.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and inform design decisions.
- Comfort in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Must be able to work core hours in US Eastern Time, with some overlap for US Mountain and European time zones.
