  3. Accelerate Delivery: Own critical day-to-day accounting tasks, freeing up bandwidth for strategic initiatives across the Finance team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and record journal entries for expense and balance sheet accounts (e.g., monthly accruals, reclasses, depreciation).
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including liabilities and fixed assets.
  • Review and approve invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports for proper coding, documentation, and compliance.
  • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities for assigned areas.
  • Analyze monthly financial trends and variances, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
  • Assist with audit preparations and other ad hoc projects as needed.
  • Identify and implement improvements to streamline financial workbooks and processes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1+ years of relevant accounting experience, public accounting and/or SaaS experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Moderate to advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • High integrity and a commitment to accuracy
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and a self-starter

Preferred locations:

L2L practices a remote-first approach while offering office space in Burlington, MA. Due to the collaborative nature of this role, we are looking for someone who can commute to the Burlington, MA office 2x per week.
