The Role:


Our team has grown rapidly, and to expand on our momentum we are looking to add a Software Engineer to join our remote team, specializing in building scalable and efficient software systems using Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technologies in the manufacturing world. As a key member of our engineering team, you will design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge applications that drive our business forward.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Node.js applications and services deployed on custom hardware

  • Work with IIoT technologies such as edge computing, device management, and data processing

  • Develop and maintain a Django application that leads the Connected Worker industry

  • Develop and deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes and AWS technologies

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

  • Collaborate daily with a talented team of engineers developing, reviewing, and improving the codebase

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development with Django and Node.js

  • Strong understanding of IIoT concepts and technologies

  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration

  • Proficiency in JavaScript and Python

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools

  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL and or MongoDB

  • Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture

  • Experience with TDD and Mob Programming
