About the role


The Sales and Operations Lead is key in supporting store sales by ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering a welcoming customer experience. You’ll help create an organized, on-brand environment where product presentation and service are consistently polished. With a focus on both smooth operations and hospitality, you’ll help ensure the store runs seamlessly and leaves a lasting impression on every customer.

You will...

  • (Sales) Engage with clients in store and create inspirational, on-brand shopping experiences, actively listening to clients' needs and providing personalized recommendations 
  • (Operations) Ensure shipment is efficiently processed, inventory is accurate, the stockroom remains organized, and returns are accurately processed.  
  • (Lead) As part of the store leadership team, assist in opening and closing duties, coaching associates, resolving customer complaints, and leading the team to success.  
  • The Sales and Operations Lead reports to the Store Manager and is a partner to the LAKE Operations Director (a remote corporate employee). 

You should have...

  • 3+ yrs retail experience, preference for prior key-holder/assistant manager background 
  • Strong sales skills with proven ability to meet and exceed targets 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask and handle multiple responsibilities 
  • Education/experience (including internships) related to retail operations and inventory management
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage customers 
  • Actively gives/receives feedback, takes an active role in the professional development of the team 
  • A passion for the LAKE brand and aesthetic  
  • Positive demeanor 
  • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends 

When performed in New York State, the hourly range for this role is $22/ hour- $28/ hour, depending on skills and experience. This range reflects the local cost of living and company guidelines.

The pay range for this role is:

22 - 28 USD per hour (Retail - Southampton)
