Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Developer Advocate to join our growing team and serve as the public voice of Latitude.sh within the Solana ecosystem.
We seek a hands-on professional who operates their own Solana validator/RPC stack and is passionate about educating, supporting, and growing the community through authentic technical leadership and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive community engagement strategy aligned with Latitude.sh's product vision and Web3 growth objectives.
- Maintain an active daily presence in the Solana Validator/RPC online community, providing technical guidance and fostering meaningful discussions on different platforms.
- Create and deliver compelling technical content, including tutorials, workshops, and documentation that showcase best practices for running performant Solana validators/RPC on bare metal infrastructure.
- Host and participate in validator community calls, AMAs, and conference panels, representing Latitude.sh with technical expertise and thought leadership.
- Establish and maintain feedback loops between the validator community and internal Product & Engineering teams, translating community insights into actionable product improvements.
- Collaborate with ecosystem partners, including the Solana Foundation, tooling vendors, and staking services, to champion open-source infrastructure improvements.
- Coordinate and lead testnet experiments and community bug-bashes, sharing results that benefit both Latitude.sh and the broader ecosystem.
- Support internal teams by educating Sales and Support on validator/RPC technical nuances, operational challenges, and troubleshooting methodologies.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience operating Solana validators and/or high-throughput RPC endpoints in production environments, preferably at tech companies focused on blockchain infrastructure.
- Strong portfolio of public technical communication, including Solana-related threads on Discord & Reddit, X (Twitter) presence, blog posts, and/or open-source contributions.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and execute technical community events, such as hackathons, AMAs, and community calls, both online and offline.
- Expertise in Linux systems administration and hardware optimization fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Rust, Go, or TypeScript for building community tooling and automation.
- Experience benchmarking blockchain workloads across different infra providers, including bare metal.
