The Opportunity

Join Lavender as our next Brand, Social & Creative Marketing Specialist, the creative force who brings our caring, nurse-led mental health brand to life. We are looking for a passionate creator who is excited to shape how Lavender feels and speaks across every touchpoint.

You’ll be joining a brand rooted in compassion and trust. Lavender was founded to create a space where feelings are felt, respected, and cared for, a mission grounded in nursing empathy, not venture-backed tech. You’ll champion our human-first ethos and elevate our brand across social, digital, and strategic brand experiences.

As our creative unicorn, you'll:

  • Be the brand steward by bringing consistency, warmth, and authenticity to every message, visual, and campaign
  • Own the philosophy of “kind, convenient, transparent”, the Lavender way of caring through marketing
  • Inspire through creative concepting and execution, from videos and campaigns to community-driven storytelling and brand activations
  • Connect culture and care by tapping into cultural moments and creating real emotional touchpoints that resonate with our audiences
  • Cultivate trust via strategy and execution, and mirroring how our psychiatric NPs provide both talk therapy and medication in one seamless, compassionate visit
  • Measure and refine campaigns using data, empathy, and a desire to help people flourish
  • This role is for someone who’s a thoughtful strategist, a creative doer, and a brand protector. You’ll help shape how Lavender shows up, not just as a company, but as a trusted human partner in mental health

The Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead integrated brand and social strategies that strengthen Lavender’s identity and expand our reach
  • Act as a brand steward, ensuring consistency of messaging, visuals, and tone across all channels
  • Concept, produce, and deliver high-impact creative (social campaigns, digital ads, brand activations, event materials, website content, video)
  • Write compelling copy tailored to each platform and campaign, balancing creativity with clarity
  • Create engaging short-form video, reels, and visual assets to fuel our digital presence
  • Proactively identify cultural moments, trends, and conversations where Lavender should show up authentically
  • Manage, grow, and engage Lavender’s online community across key platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Reddit)
  • Partner with internal teams to bring brand initiatives to life across the full marketing mix
  • Measure and report on performance metrics, using insights to iterate and push creative boundaries
  • Contribute to the marketing team’s big-picture goals while remaining agile enough to jump into other projects when needed

The Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in brand marketing, social media, or creative content roles (experience across both B2B and B2C a plus)
  • A true creative generalist: strong design instincts, copywriting skills, and storytelling abilities
  • Proficiency with design and editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, Premiere Pro, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and emerging trends
  • Comfortable working end-to-end: from strategy and concepting to execution and reporting
  • Strong community management experience and ability to build authentic engagement
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to inform creative decisions
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-moving, remote-first, startup environment
  • Experience in healthcare, mental health, or another highly regulated industry preferred
  • Aligned with Lavender’s values: First, be kind; Act with integrity; Grow together; Be exceptional; Celebrate & have fun; Nurture ideas (inclusivity, diversity, equity, access & service)
