What you’ll do…


  • Be Awesome: Seriously, just be your awesome self.
  • Design and Build: Independently lead and collaborate with our engineering team to design and implement automated testing frameworks / tools.
  • Champion: Research industry best practices and champion continued adoption of our automated testing strategy.
  • Test Master: Delivering automated tests and related artifacts using a range of modern tools in a time-constrained environment.
  • Collaborate: Work with team members in order to understand test scenarios and develop automated tests which perform the same actions.
  • Review: Complete Peer Review of pull requests for others in areas that are well known / understood.
  • Mentor Extraordinaire: Active participation in planning, automation prioritisation, daily stand ups, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Elevate: Knowledge sharing, upskilling, and contributing to the growth of your peers and other team members.
  • Inspire: Inspire confidence in QA activities and lead change and improvements.

  • Base Skills: Proven experience with most of the following:BAse
    • Mentoring / leading other QA / developer resources
    • Strong test development skillset (.NET, javascript)
    • Test automation using tools such as Playwright, Specflow, etc
    • Competency using Visual Studio and Git source control
    • AI Testing and Evaluations
    • Demonstrated capability in testing web API + UI and mobile applications
    • Testing Microsoft Azure / Amazon AWS / SaaS solutions
    • Be a self-starter, have a positive, resilient, can-do attitude, and embrace challenges
    • Experience working in an Agile project delivery environment and frequent releases
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
    • Working with NZ companies
  • Bonus Skills:
    • Performance testing
    • Data Engineering testing
    • Experience in the legal sector
    • Azure DevOps experience (pipeline development)
    • Azure Infra-as-Code experience (ARM, bicep)
    • Recognised test certification is valued (e.g. ISEB, ISTQB)

  • Workspace Intelligence: harnessing the power of AI and natural language to transform all legal work into a productivity powerhouse of legal intelligence.
  • Data & Analytics: unleashing the value of data by providing robust reporting, analytics, and data visualization to help teams make informed, real-time decisions and enhance legal operations.
