This is a front-end-focused Software Engineer role within our Workspace Intelligence team. You will help build AI-powered experiences that make complex legal workflows simpler, faster, and more intuitive for LawVu customers around the world.
You will work primarily with TypeScript (Angular), building scalable user interfaces, reusable components, and reliable application flows. You will work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, QA professionals, backend engineers, and data specialists to turn customer and business needs into high-quality product experiences.
Our frontend application includes complex enterprise workflows, asynchronous data flows, REST API integrations, shared UI components, design-system patterns, and AI-powered interactions. You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including technical design, implementation, automated testing, troubleshooting, documentation, code review, and delivery.
This is more than a development role. It is an opportunity to deepen your frontend engineering expertise while gaining exposure to AI products, enterprise SaaS architecture, cloud-native systems, and globally used software. You will be supported by experienced Senior and Principal Engineers who are invested in your technical growth and engineering judgement.
Specifically, you will:
- Build and evolve AI-powered user experiences using TypeScript.
- Develop reusable, maintainable standalone components and frontend patterns.
- Work extensively with RxJS, signals, asynchronous workflows, and application state.
- Integrate frontend features with REST APIs and backend services.
- Build intuitive experiences for complex legal and business workflows.
- Contribute to LawVu’s shared component library and design system.
- Apply accessibility, responsive design, performance, and cross-browser best practices.
- Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Participate in technical design discussions and architectural decisions.
- Review code and contribute to front-end engineering standards.
- Troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Use AI coding assistants and development tools to improve engineering productivity.
- Work directly with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering stakeholders to refine solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in the front-end architecture and developer experience.
What we need from you:
Frontend Engineering
- Strong commercial experience using TypeScript (Angular).
- Experience designing scalable component architecture for large web applications.
- Solid understanding of RxJS, observables, asynchronous data flows, and reactive programming.
- Experience with modern Angular patterns such as standalone components, signals, dependency injection, and reactive forms.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, strongly typed TypeScript.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs.
- Understanding of frontend performance, accessibility, responsive design, and browser compatibility.
Technical & Domain Expertise
- Full-Stack Development: Preference for 2-5 years of hands-on full-stack development experience, with core backend expertise in C# (.NET Framework / .NET Core) and REST API design.
- UI Systems & Standards: Proven ability to build and maintain shared component libraries while optimizing web performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Cloud & DevOps: Experience with Azure PaaS / Web App services, GitHub, automated build systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
Delivery & Engineering Culture
- Quality & Delivery: Comfortable with automated testing frameworks, QA best practices, secure coding standards, and delivery within an Agile framework.
- AI Tooling: Hands-on experience integrating AI coding assistants and agents into your daily development workflow to accelerate delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Comfortable at engaging directly with customers and cross-functional peers to refine requirements and iterate on solutions.
