What you’ll do…

 

Global Talent Architecture

LawVu is a global organisation that currently operates across 26 countries. You must have experience in designing talent systems that work across borders. Your core skills will include:

 

  • Workforce planning across multiple geographies
  • International hiring models (EOR, contractors, subsidiaries)
  • Global compliance fluency (or ability to architect support for it)
  • Compensation philosophy across currencies and markets
  • Distributed onboarding design

Scaling & Organizational Design

At 160 people we are at an inflection point for the growth of our people and culture. We are looking for a candidate who can proactively design for our next stage of scale. Key capabilities include:

 

  • Org design for growth (structure, layers, spans of control)
  • Succession planning and leadership bench building
  • Performance frameworks that don’t crush agility
  • Role clarity and decision rights (RACI-level thinking)

 

It is essential that you have experience having scaled through this stage before.


Leadership Development in a Distributed Model

Remote/global teams amplify leadership challenges. You will have demonstrable experience in capability development through:


  • Coaching leaders through ambiguity
  • Building first-time managers
  • Cultural alignment across regions
  • Conflict navigation across cultures
  • Executive team facilitation

Talent Acquisition Strategy 

Hiring quality is fundamental, more than assistance with recruiting we are looking for.


  • Employer brand strategy in multiple markets
  • Structured, bias-aware hiring processes
  • Competency-based interviews
  • Workforce forecasting tied to growth strategy
  • Strong recruiter enablement or vendor management
  • Consideration of pipelines and capability gaps, over requisitions

Data & Commercial Acumen

Our People leader must speak the language of growth. You will need:


  • Comfort with people analytics and the storytelling behind the data
  • Ability to tie headcount to revenue productivity
  • Retention analytics
  • Cost-of-hire and comp ratio understanding
  • Budget ownership
  • To be comfortable representing at board level, discussing people strategy as a growth lever, not a support function


 

Change & Communication Agility

In global environments policies break, communication misfires, culture fragments quickly, so we are looking for an HR leader who:

 

  • Communicates clearly and transparently
  • Designs change rollouts intentionally
  • Can stabilize teams during rapid pivots
  • Has high EQ and political acuity

 

Cultural Stewardship at Scale

26 countries means a risk of cultural drift. Key strengths we are looking for include:

 

  • Defining and codifying values
  • Translating values into action led behaviors
  • Embedding culture into performance and promotion
  • Balancing global consistency with local nuance
