Legacy Engineering is seeking to hire a Civil Engineering Intern. We are looking for a self-starter and problem-solver with strong analytical and critical thinking skills. In this position, you will assist with our multidisciplinary team in CAD, Civil Engineering, Geotechnical, Planning and Environmental Services. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated, energetic professional who is interested in growth on a professional and personal level. Internship will be in Summer 2026

Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include CAD drafting, design calculations, project documentation, assist in developing engineer's estimates, and other entry-level engineering duties as needed to support projects in Virginia
• Assist with project planning and organization
• Attend client meetings to learn about client communication in a professional setting

Qualifications:

• Highly organized and excellent at time management.
• A clear, proactive communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Computer literacy in AutoCAD and MS Office Suites

Experience:

• Enrollment in a Civil, Environmental or Geological Engineering program with expected graduation in the next two years.
