Sales Development Representative

About the role

We are hiring a Sales Development Representative to fuel our growth. You will identify potential customers, generate new business opportunities, and partner closely with Account Executives to move qualified prospects through the pipeline. You will engage VP and C-level legal leaders (General Counsel, VPs of Legal, and other executives) across segments and verticals who want to optimize how their teams review and negotiate contracts.

This is a high-performance, high-ownership role with a clear path to advancement based on results and capacity. If you are a self-motivated communicator who wants to build a sales career in a fast-growing legaltech company, we want to hear from you.


What you'll do

  • Run multi-channel outbound sequences (email, phone, LinkedIn) in Outreach, and follow up promptly on inbound and marketing-sourced leads.
  • Research personas to craft relevant, value-led outreach to legal decision-makers.
  • Use Claude to accelerate account research, personalize messaging, and prioritize your outreach.
  • Book and confirm qualified meetings for Account Executives, and collaborate on account strategy to hit shared targets.
  • Run effective discovery to understand prospect priorities, current contract review process, and fit for LegalOn.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of activity and pipeline in HubSpot.
  • Share market and prospect feedback with Sales and Marketing to sharpen messaging and targeting.


Qualifications

Mandatory requirements
  • 1+ years as a Sales Development Representative, OR 3+ years in the legal industry working with attorneys and/or VP/C-level executives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic, resilience, and a track record of meeting goals.
  • Curiosity about AI tools like Claude and a willingness to use them to work faster and smarter.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fully remote, fast-paced environment.
Desired requirements
  • Experience in SaaS sales development.
  • Experience in legaltech or selling to legal teams.
  • Comfort with a modern SDR tech stack (HubSpot, Outreach, ZoomInfo) and the discipline to keep data clean.

The pay range for this role is:

70,000 - 95,000 USD per year (United States)
