Overview:
The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst plays a critical role in guiding data-driven decision-making across the organization supporting, Finance, Sales, Operations, and other cross-functional teams. This position is responsible for leading the design, development, and governance of analytics, dashboards, and insights that inform strategic and operational priorities.
Reporting to the Finance organization, this role will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, connecting data to outcomes and helping teams interpret and act on insights. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with business acumen, is deeply skilled in Tableau and Databricks, and is passionate about influencing strategy through data.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the primary BI partner for Finance, Sales, and Operations. Lead the development and alignment of key business metrics, fostering data consistency and clarity across departments.
- Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards and automated reports that enable leaders to monitor financial and operational performance. Establish best practices for data visualization and storytelling to ensure insights are clear, actionable, and accessible.
- Act as a strategic thought partner to leadership, helping define business questions and translate them into analytical solutions. Provide guidance and coaching to teams on leveraging data in planning and decision-making.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover drivers of performance, trends, and opportunities. Transform complex datasets into executive-level insights and recommendations that influence key decisions.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and IT to ensure data within Databricks is accurate, accessible, and structured to support analytics needs. Lead initiatives to improve data integrity, documentation, and reporting automation.
- Partner with Finance to support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis through data-informed insights. Ensure financial and operational reporting frameworks align with organizational goals.
- Identify opportunities to optimize reporting processes, strengthen data pipelines, and scale analytics capabilities as the company grows.
- Promote a culture of data literacy and empower business partners to access and use BI tools confidently.
What You'll Bring:
- Demonstrated experience leading BI initiatives and guiding cross-functional stakeholders through data-driven planning and execution.
- Advanced Tableau development skills, including dashboard design, data modeling, and visualization best practices.
- Strong SQL skills with experience querying and transforming large datasets in Databricks or similar environments.
- Solid understanding of financial and operational metrics, forecasting, and performance management.
- Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to leadership — simplifying complex data and influencing strategic decisions.
- Effective communicator, capable of presenting insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in a Finance-supported analytics role (FP&A, RevOps, or Operational Analytics preferred).
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and self-driven; able to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Growth mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation in analytics.

Qualifications:
- Open to candidates with a 4-year college degree or comparable blend of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Financial Analytics, or Data Analytics.
- Deep technical expertise in Tableau and SQL, with Databricks experience strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting Finance, Sales, and Operations through analytics.
- Demonstrated success in leading BI projects and guiding cross-functional teams toward data-informed decision-making.
