Job Overview

Lick Ice Cream is seeking a motivated and dynamic Subscription Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will target Human Resources (HR) Managers at mid-to-large-sized companies, pitching our innovative $1,000/month Lick Ice Cream Freezer Subscription as a unique employee benefit. The subscription provides a fully stocked ice cream freezer, offering a delicious, morale-boosting perk for employees. If you’re a self-starter with a passion for sales and building relationships, this is your chance to help companies sweeten their workplace culture while earning a competitive base salary plus

commission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and Outreach: Identify and contact HR Managers at companies with 50+employees, leveraging cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and in-person meetings to generate leads.
  • Pitch the Product: Present the Lick Ice Cream Freezer Subscription as a hassle-free, high-value employee benefit that enhances workplace satisfaction and retention.
  • Close Deals: Negotiate and finalize subscription agreements, ensuring a smooth handoff to the fulfillment team.
  • Build Relationships: Develop long-term partnerships with HR Managers to secure renewals and referrals.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about trends in employee benefits and competitor offerings to refine sales strategies.
  • Track Performance: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and closed deals in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate: Work with marketing to create compelling collateral and campaigns targeting HR decision-makers.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably targeting HR, benefits, or workplace perks (2+ years preferred).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor pitches to diverse audiences.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field or remote environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Passion for creative problem-solving and delivering value to clients.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for in-person meetings as needed).

Compensation Plan

  • Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 annually (based on experience).
  • Commission Structure:
    • 5% commission on each new subscription sale ($50 per $1,000/month subscription).
    • 10% bonus commission on the first month’s revenue for subscriptions renewed after the initial 12-month term ($100 per renewal).
    • Accelerator Bonus: Earn an additional 2% commission ($20 per subscription) for every 5 subscriptions sold in a single month (e.g., 5 sales =7% total commission per sale, 10 sales = 9%, etc.).
  • Example Earnings:
    • Sell 10 subscriptions in a month: $500 (base commission) + $200 (accelerator bonus) = $700/month in commission.
    • If 5 of those renew after 12 months: $500 renewal bonus.
    • Total potential first-year earnings with 10 sales/month: $68,400 - $78,400 (base + commission).
  • Additional Perks: Monthly ice cream allowance, performance-based quarterly incentives (e.g., gift cards, trips), and health benefits.
