We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to own and scale reporting, analytics, and operational insights across our Professional Services organization. This role will be responsible for building a robust analytics foundation that enables data-driven planning, staffing, efficiency measurement, and strategic decision-making.
This role will eliminate manual data workflows, establish standardized metrics, and deliver actionable insights through high-quality dashboards and reporting frameworks. In addition, this position will serve as a strategic business partner to Professional Services leadership, Finance, and Customer Success teams.
This is a full-time remote position.
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm ET
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Professional Services Reporting & Analytics
- Own end-to-end professional services reporting and analytics strategy.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and SQL-based data models.
- Develop automated reporting pipelines that replace manual data processes.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability across systems.
Operational & Financial Performance Metrics
- Build and manage KPIs and metrics (i.e. cost per employee, cost per activity, Output vs. spend vs. revenue, Productivity and efficiency trends)
- Create normalized performance metrics (i.e. staffing models forecasting, budget planning, resource optimization)
- Partner with Finance to align operational metrics with financial performance and forecasting models.
Efficiency, Quality & Churn Analysis
- Develop reporting frameworks
- Establish quality reporting and measurement standards.
- Track progress against 2026 operational and financial targets.
- Deliver insights that drive proactive operational improvements.
Data Infrastructure & Process Ownership
- Build scalable data foundations to support long-term reporting needs.
- Standardize processes for data collection, reporting, and documentation.
- Create training and documentation to ensure consistent use of reporting tools and dashboards.
- Establish accountability frameworks that drive operational efficiency.
Strategic Partnership & Stakeholder Enablement
- Partner closely with Professional Services leadership, Finance and Customer Success
- Deliver executive-ready reporting for leadership decision-making.
- Translate data into actionable insights that drive operational planning and business outcomes.
Work Experience Qualifications:
Technical & Analytical Expertise
- Advanced SQL skills with demonstrated experience running complex queries across large datasets.
- Expert-level experience in Power BI, including data modeling, dashboard creation, and automation.
- Strong experience building KPIs, operational dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Experience working with QuickBooks or comparable financial/accounting platforms.
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills.
Operational & Business Acumen
- Experience supporting professional services, consulting, SaaS, or operations teams.
- Proven ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions.
- Strong understanding of:
o Cost modeling
o Resource utilization
o Revenue and margin analytics
o Operational efficiency frameworks
Process & Systems Thinking
- Experience building scalable analytics and reporting systems.
- Ability to streamline and automate manual workflows.
- Strong documentation, training, and standardization skills.
Collaboration & Communication
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to executives and cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally across Finance, Customer Success, and Operations.
- Strong stakeholder management and influence skills
Other Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in SaaS, compliance, regulatory, healthcare, or professional services environments.
- 3+ years of experience working with multi-source data environments (CRM, PSA tools, ERP, accounting systems).
- Familiarity with financial planning, forecasting, and workforce modeling.
- Experience building analytics frameworks from early-stage or scaling environments.
- Microsoft Office suite competency including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Staying organized while effectively prioritizing multiple projects at once.
- High attention to detail when completing projects.
- Strong time management skills to complete projects by deadlines.
- Self-motivated individual who takes ownership of their projects.
Compensation:
- Annual Salay: $90,000 - $110,000
