Liminal is the actionable intelligence company. We've built a proprietary Living Graph — a verified knowledge architecture that maps the real-time structure of Identity, Fraud, and Cybersecurity — and the agentic AI systems and human verification layer to make it trustworthy. Visa, Mastercard, Google, and JPMC use it to make strategic and revenue decisions. Series A, 80 people, offices in NYC, Salt Lake City, Porto, Lisbon, and Manila. The architecture works, the customers are real, and we're scaling the team.
Liminal delivers verified intelligence to the world's leading platforms in Identity, Fraud, and Cybersecurity — Visa, Mastercard, Google, JPMC, and others. For some clients, the platform is enough. For others, the intelligence is the starting point for deeper strategic work. That's where Client Solutions comes in.
The Client Solutions team is Liminal's embedded strategy consulting practice. We work with enterprise clients, investors, and technology providers who want to go beyond a platform-only relationship — turning verified intelligence into executed strategy. Projects span GTM and growth strategy, product management advisory, M&A and corporate development support, scenario planning, and competitive war gaming. Think management consulting, but armed with proprietary intelligence that no firm on the market can access.
We're looking for an Associate to join the team. You'll lead workstreams, build deliverables, conduct research, and work directly with C-suite executives and senior operators at the largest companies in our markets. If you've been in management consulting or strategy and want to do the same caliber of work with better data, a faster cycle, and real ownership of client outcomes, this is the role.
In your first 30 days, you've onboarded to the Liminal platform, understand the intelligence architecture, and are contributing to active client engagements — building analyses, preparing deliverables, and sitting in on client meetings.
In your first 90 days, you're leading workstreams on client projects, managing deliverable timelines independently, and earning trust from clients and internal stakeholders as a reliable, high-quality contributor.
In your first year, you've delivered across multiple engagement types — GTM strategy, M&A support, competitive war gaming, product advisory — and clients are requesting you by name. You've developed domain expertise that makes you a credible voice in the room with senior executives.
You have a background in management consulting, strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or a similar analytical and client-facing role. You know how to structure a problem, build an analysis, and deliver a recommendation that holds up in front of senior executives. You're proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Workspace — and you build clear, data-driven materials that communicate complex findings without clutter. You work with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, and similar) as a default part of your research and analysis workflow, not as a novelty. You manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high standards under pressure. You're organized, proactive, and sharp with clients — and you have a genuine interest in the markets we serve: cybersecurity, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, and trust and safety.
Experience in strategy or management consulting (MBB, Big 4 strategy, or boutique firms). Background in M&A, corporate development, or investment analysis. Prior exposure to Identity, Fraud, Cybersecurity, or financial services markets. Experience with competitive war gaming or scenario planning methodologies. Demonstrated ability to design and operationalize advanced AI prompts, including prompt chaining and agent-based workflows.
Direct exposure to C-suite executives, investors, and technology leaders at the largest companies in Identity, Fraud, and Cybersecurity. Hands-on experience delivering high-impact strategy and intelligence engagements — GTM planning, M&A support, competitive war gaming, product advisory — with access to proprietary intelligence no other firm can offer. The opportunity to build deep domain expertise in markets where the stakes are real and the clients are the world's most recognized platforms.
This is consulting with an unfair advantage. Traditional strategy firms rely on interviews, public data, and analyst intuition. You'll walk into every engagement armed with a proprietary Living Graph that maps 2.5M+ verified entities — competitive dynamics, buyer demand, regulatory shifts, and market structure that no one else has access to. The quality of your work starts at a higher floor.
The clients are real and the work matters. You'll advise Visa, Mastercard, Google, and the Global 2000 on growth strategy, competitive positioning, M&A targets, and market entry. These aren't theoretical exercises — your recommendations get executed.
You'll grow faster here. Small team, high-stakes engagements, direct client exposure from day one. You'll own workstreams that would take years to access at a traditional firm — and you'll build domain expertise in markets that are only getting more important.
We respect your time. Here's what to expect:
