Data Platform Lead (Flexible and Impact-Driven Role)

What You'll Do

• Transform Our Data Infrastructure: Own and optimize our ETL pipelines and Snowflake data warehouse. The foundation is solid, but there's room to innovate—help us reduce costs or guide us toward a better alternative.
• Reimagine Data Visualization: Oversee our Looker setup while exploring more cost-effective, feature-rich visualization tools to elevate how we share insights.
• Lead and Mentor: Manage the work of a junior data engineer/analyst, ensuring timely delivery of client reports and ad hoc data requests.
• Solve Real-Time Challenges: Occasionally, you'll dive into urgent client requests that require your expertise.
• Unify Data Across Businesses: Play a key role in integrating and harmonizing diverse data sets as we navigate through our M&A journey, creating a cohesive and scalable data ecosystem.
• Collaborate Across Systems: Bonus points if you can provide insights or recommendations for our operational data stores (MySQL).
• Shape Our Data Future: As the go-to for all things data and reporting, you'll tackle evolving business needs with creativity and precision.
