Overview
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will be responsible for assessing/diagnosing behavioral/mental health issues, determining appropriate types/methods of treatment, and implementing intervention methodologies (psychotherapy) via telehealth platform and documentation of those services in the electric medical record.
Job Duties:
· Provide assessment/diagnosis and psychotherapy to a wide range of patients as young as 12 up to geriatric age, that are appropriate for telehealth services
· Use evidence-based screening tools with patients to screen and measure outcomes
· Document in electric medical record the services that were provided, as well as, providing diagnosis and billing code for the encounter
· Provide services via audio and visual two way communication platform
· Abide by the NASW code of Ethics and all laws and regulatory bodies governing the practice location
· Coordinate with clinical, health education, community health and other staff members in the provision of services to patients if necessary.
· Provide referrals for services needed
· Assume other responsibilities as directed
Qualifications:
· Masters degree in Social Work, having obtained licensure as a Clinical (LCSW) or Independent (LISW) Social Worker able to practice independently the practice location (State)
· Experience with psychotherapy
· Familiarity with women's health, multicultural groups, previous work experience in a multicultural setting preferred
