ABOUT THE POSITION
The Hardware Engineering department is an integral part of the Engineering Organization that supports product development. As part of the team, the Hardware Engineering Technician will regularly collaborate with other team members and departments to help move projects forward or resolve issues in a timely manner. In this role, various functions will be performed such as; new hardware evaluation, device configuration development, quality acceptance and Firmware regression testing, cable harness creation or modification, Hardware/Firmware troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and creation of supporting documentation as required. In addition, the Hardware Engineering Technician will provide support to the Sales, Customer Experience, Customer Success, and Customer Support teams to help resolve issues as they arise. This position will help ensure Hardware Engineering meets all product-related tasks as well as provide troubleshooting support and training to other departments within the organization.
This is a hybrid remote/office position but may be adjusted based on business needs. The Hardware Engineering Technician is required to have a private workspace in their home with proper internet connectivity that ensures productivity. This includes but is not limited to simultaneously connecting to multiple work-related websites as well as video conferencing.
