ABOUT THE POSITION
We’re looking for a leader with a passion for working with Product Owners, developing products and translating customer needs into product solutions. We need someone who understands that good software solutions deliver on ease of use and simplify the complicated. Someone who can work closely with software engineers, talk to and understand the needs of customers, lead a team of Product Owners and who is comfortable with designers and UI/UX principles. We are looking for a leader who can interface with Executive Leadership on a continual basis, be counted on to contribute to company strategy, board communications, product roadmap and long-term growth plans. The Director of Product Development will report to the Chief Product Officer and will be responsible for training, coaching, and evaluating employees; setting performance standards; and providing guidance on how best to achieve company goals.
You’ll be responsible for managing and driving product initiatives through the product development lifecycle. You’ll work closely with our product management and engineering team to ensure feature and project deliverables are on time. You’ll work closely with product marketing, sales and support to gain a deep understanding of the needs of our customers and will have a keen eye for identifying and solving problems that deliver true benefits.
