ABOUT THE POSITION:

Linxup is seeking a Director of Insurance Partnerships to lead and expand our relationships with insurance carriers, brokers, and risk management firms. This role will focus on leveraging Linxup’s GPS tracking and telematics safety solutions to develop innovative insurance programs that improve underwriting, claims management, and risk mitigation for commercial fleets.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the insurance industry, particularly in telematics-driven risk assessment, commercial auto insurance, and strategic partnership development.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, develop, and manage high-impact relationships with insurance carriers, managing general agents (MGAs), brokers, and risk management providers.
  • Data-Driven Risk Management: Work closely with insurance partners to integrate Linxup’s telematics data into underwriting and claims management processes when applicable.
  • Program Development: Design and implement insurance programs that leverage Linxup’s telematics to provide discounts, risk scoring, and loss prevention benefits.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive business development efforts by creating scalable partnership models that align with insurance industry needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, sales, marketing, and engineering teams to develop solutions tailored to insurance partners.
  • Market Intelligence & Compliance: Stay ahead of regulatory trends, insurance industry best practices, and telematics advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Industry Representation: Advocate for Linxup at insurance conferences, trade shows, and industry events to build brand awareness and thought leadership.

 

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Industry Expertise: 8+ years of experience in insurance partnerships, business development, or telematics-driven risk management.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in structuring and scaling insurance partnership programs that drive business impact.
  • Strong Relationship Management: Established network in the insurance sector with experience in negotiating complex agreements.
  • Technical & Data Proficiency: Understanding of telematics, GPS tracking, and their application in fleet insurance underwriting and claims.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Ability to work across teams to develop and implement insurance-focused solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to present to executive stakeholders.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in commercial auto, fleet insurance, or usage-based insurance (UBI) models.
  • Familiarity with InsurTech trends and regulatory frameworks impacting insurance telematics.
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree in business, insurance, or a related field.
