About the role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Intelligence Lead to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. This role guides both technical execution and business engagement, while mentoring other analysts and working cross-functionally with stakeholders to unlock the full value of our data. 

What you'll do

·       Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of business intelligence solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.

·       Collaborate with the business to understand processes, priorities, and source applications. Work closely with data engineering on data warehouse design to ensure data warehouse design meets analytics and reporting needs.

·       Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources. Develop and maintain complex queries and reports to support business needs.

·       Monitor and evaluate the performance of BI solutions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.

·       Develop and maintain documentation for BI processes, standards, and best practices. Ensure compliance with data governance policies.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field. 

·       Minimum of 8 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field. 

·       Experience with data warehouse design is essential, including data modeling, semantic layer design, Master Data Management, data transformation, and ETL processes and tools.

·       Proficiency with Power BI or Tableau, and other business intelligence tools.

·       Expertise in SQL for data querying and analysis.

·       Proven ability to lead and manage BI projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

·       Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

·       Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders. 

·       Experience with Azure SQL Data Warehouse preferred.

·       Experience with Salesforce products and services preferred. 

·       Data governance and data cataloging experience preferred.
