About the Role
Are you a seasoned Engineer in Test (SDET/QA Automation) looking to take the next step in your career? We're seeking a QA Lead/Lead SDET to join our dynamic team. As an SDET/QA Automation Engineer at Liven, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of software delivery, leading a team of QA engineers, and spearheading our testing strategies.
What You'll Do
- Take ownership of the quality of deliverables, encompassing new features and enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with the product and engineering teams to comprehend requirements and user workflows. ( We are a Global Team )
- Identify and address quality assurance process bottlenecks for continuous improvement.
- Craft efficient manual test cases and conduct functional, ad hoc, and regression testing.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail, especially in managing multiple test executions simultaneously.
- Manage the entire testing lifecycle with a focus on automation, from test plan creation to documentation of test scenarios and cases.
- Stay abreast of the latest technologies and testing tools, continuously optimizing our testing process for SDETs.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SDETs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in test automation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in utilizing defect tracking systems to report, track, and resolve defects.
- Proficiency in API testing and performance testing using tools such as JMeter and Postman.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JS, and browser debugging/console tools.
- Test automation experience, preferably with Selenium or any other relevant framework.
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Familiarity with at least one source control system, such as Git or SVN.
- Good comprehension of the Agile software development methodology (Kanban or Scrum) and the role of QA within it.
Good to Have
- Working knowledge of API Testing.
- Knowledge of CI-CD tools such as Codemagic, Jenkins, or Bitrise.
