About the role

Liven is seeking a highly skilled Senior iOS Developer to join our innovative team. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing our iOS POS system, ensuring its stability, performance, and feature development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in iOS development, a deep understanding of POS systems, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a product that directly impacts the business's operational success and revenue growth.

What you'll do

  • Design and Development, Architect, design, and develop scalable and reliable iOS applications tailored for POS systems.
  • Ensure robustness and maintainability of code to meet evolving business needs.
  • Partner with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to conceptualise and implement innovative solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliverables.
  • Uphold high standards of code quality through comprehensive reviews, automated testing, and adherence to best practices.
  • Implement and manage continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and bugs, and provide effective solutions to enhance user experience.
  • Monitor application stability and proactively resolve issues to minimize downtime.
  • Guide and mentor junior developers to foster their growth and encourage a culture of excellence.
  • Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to promote continuous learning within the team.
  • Stay informed of the latest iOS trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our applications remain competitive and cutting-edge.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of iOS application development, with a focus on POS systems or similar domains.
  • Proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, and iOS frameworks like CoreData and UIKit.
  • Experience with development tools such as Xcode and CI/CD systems.
  • Solid understanding of networking, RESTful APIs, and integration with third-party libraries.
  • Familiarity with Firebase and other backend services.
