About The Role

We’re looking for a Partnerships Executive – Payments to join our growing Jakarta team and support the expansion of Liven’s payments ecosystem across Southeast Asia and ANZ. This is a strategic role at the intersection of partnerships, technology, and payments innovation.
You’ll be responsible for cultivating relationships with global and regional Payment Service Providers (PSPs), acquirers, and processors. Your work will directly impact transaction growth, performance optimization, and the user experience across our payment infrastructure.


What You’ll Do

  • Manage and grow strategic relationships with PSPs, gateways, processors, and payment aggregators.
  • Lead commercial negotiations covering MDRs, pricing, interchange, and value-added services.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to support seamless integrations and payment routing logic.
    Drive partner enablement through go-to-market initiatives, joint campaigns, and onboarding strategies.
    Analyse and optimise key payment KPIs including authorization rates, success ratios, and settlement timelines.
  • Track and act on market trends such as e-wallet adoption, alternative payment methods, real-time payments, and regional regulations.
  • Partner with Compliance and Risk teams to align on KYC/AML, PCI DSS, and cross-border transaction standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in partnerships, business development, or account management within payments, PSPs, or fintech.
  • Solid understanding of the payments value chain — issuing, acquiring, interchange, settlement, reconciliation and proven ability to navigate technical discussions with internal teams and partners.
  • Hands-on experience with card acquiring, e-wallets, direct debit, BNPL, or cross-border payments with strong commercial negotiation skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
