About the role
As a Frontend Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in designing, building, and optimizing high-quality, responsive web applications. Partnering with a multidisciplinary team, you’ll transform designs and wireframes into engaging user interfaces while maintaining performance and scalability.
What you'll do
- Design and develop user-facing features with React.js.
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for scalable future use.
- Convert wireframes and design specifications into clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Optimize components to ensure performance across various devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with teams across disciplines to ideate, design, and implement innovative features.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain robust development practices.
- Stay informed about emerging front-end technologies and promote best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in front-end development.
- Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Comprehensive knowledge of React.js and its core principles.
- Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Flux.
- Familiarity with modern authentication techniques such as JSON Web Token.
- Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and preprocessors like Sass or LESS.
- Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Competence with version control tools like Git.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Capable of thriving in independent and team environments within a fast-paced setting.
Good to Have
- Experience with server-side rendering frameworks like Next.js and Node.js.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
