About the Role:

Reporting to the  Vice President of People, as the People and Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll support the design and implementation of repeatable, scalable systems, policies and programs that support a global team. You will also be responsible for Talent Acquisition. You will be responsible for and play a pivotal role in supporting the hearts and minds of all employees. 


This role will ensure compliance with Australian employment law, support employee engagement, and manage various HR processes to maintain a high-performance work culture. This position is to enable the hiring of roles across all Loam locations. This position also involves both administrative and strategic responsibilities, including benefits and compensation implementation and support, as well as tax management, developing policies and a code of conduct that are compliant with Australian regulations, and implementing programs that can scale globally.  The ideal candidate will be instrumental in improving the employee experience and optimising the efficiency of our HR department.


Location: Remote/Hybrid - Australia/with 3 days of travel every two weeks to Orange, NSW, Australia.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements People strategies to support organisational growth by fostering high performance, inclusivity, continuous improvement, and innovation.
  • Advises on business decisions aligned with legislative changes and compliance requirements.
  • Guides employee survey action plans to drive global engagement and retention.
  • Manages full-cycle recruitment across Australia, ensuring a seamless candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Ensures consistent application and integration of people policies, programs, and practices.
  • Reports on the effectiveness of enablement initiatives using qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Supports performance reviews, goal setting, and compensation processes.
  • Provides compliant employee relations advice, promoting a high-performance culture.
  • Leads HR training and development to drive upskilling, mobility, and retention.
  • Assists in developing policies, systems, and metrics to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
  • Ensures compliance with employment laws and updates policies as needed.
  • Manages onboarding, new-hire orientation, and exit processes, ensuring exceptional experiences and HRIS accuracy.
  • Supports AUS payroll processing, including updates, reimbursements, and compliance audits.
  • Note: Duties may evolve in response to business needs.
