As we transition from a contractor model to an in-house team, this role is essential in building our housekeeping operations from the ground up. We need a leader who will elevate every aspect of our housekeeping program, from hiring and training to quality control and technology implementation.


What we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Housekeeping Manager to develop and lead our in-house team. This person will play a critical role in shaping our housekeeping operations, ensuring that every property meets LocalVR’s high standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at training and managing teams, and embraces technology to optimize operations.


Skills you’ll need

  • Bilingual- English/Spanish
  • 2+ years in hospitality or the vacation rental industry
  • 2+ years in management
  • Ability to learn and use technology for scheduling, reporting, and quality control


Responsibilities: 

  • Hiring, training, and managing the housekeeping team
  • Overseeing payroll and scheduling for housekeeping staff
  • Managing inventory and ordering necessary supplies
  • Conducting field inspections to ensure quality standards are met
  • Coordinating with the ground operations team to report maintenance issues, prioritize schedules, and respond to guest concerns
  • Partnering with vendors, particularly laundromat services, to ensure seamless operations
  • Utilizing ResortCleaning to schedule cleans, document property conditions with photos, and maintain detailed records
  • Driving process improvements in training, management, quality control, supplies, and technology

Work environment:

  • Full time
  • Holidays required
  • Thursday - Monday schedule required
  • 4WD vehicle and drivers license required
  • Offices in both Lake Tahoe & Kings Beach


Compensation

  • $58,000 - $67,000/year
